DO YOUR BEST
1st through 3rd grade
Kindergartners work toward the Lion badge. The Lion badge is earned by completing five adventures. Outside of the requirements, Lion Scouts may also complete any number of seven elective adventures. This is a new rank for Cub Scouts introduced in 2018.
Cub Scout activities are centered around earning badges that are specific to each school grade level. Each badge represents a rank. Advancement refers to the progress a Cub Scout makes toward their badge of rank. All of the activities for each rank are in the Cub Scout handbooks.
4th and 5th grades
Cub Scouts in fourth and fifth grades join Webelos (pronounced "wee-bee-lohs"). The Webelos program helps children prepare to join a BSA Scout troop. Webelos work towards earning the Arrow of Light, which is the highest rank award available in Cub Scouts.
Thank you for donating to our local pack. You are helping plan the next great adventure, and giving young people the chance to have fun, gain confidence and become leaders who exemplify the Scout's Oath and live by the Scout's Law.
All of scouting is designed to promote physical, mental, and spiritual excellence. Every one of our scouts is somebody important. Each child in the pack learns to live by the Scout Law.
